Our soon-to-be new Assistant Innkeeper, Amanda, is no stranger to Country Willows, as she’s currently transitioning from her position as a guest service associate at our sister property, the Palm Motel and Cottages.

Amanda brings with her a wealth of experience and a contagious enthusiasm for hospitality. Hailing from Northern Georgia, she embarked on a journey that led her through various education and professional pursuits. With a bachelor's degree in foreign languages and a master's in English, she possesses a unique skill set that extends beyond traditional innkeeping roles.
Amanda’s journey into the lodging industry began in 2019 at an inn in Jacksonville, where she quickly made her mark at the front desk. Venturing further into the world of hospitality, she found herself in Ashland embracing the role of a fill-in innkeeper. Here, she not only managed the day-to-day operations but also curated wellness retreats, showcasing her versatility and dedication to enhancing guest experiences.
In October 2023, she seamlessly transitioned to her current role as a guest service associate at the Palm Motel and Cottages, a sister property to Country Willows. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys hot yoga sessions, visiting local coffee shops, and exploring the many rivers Southern Oregon has to offer.

What sets Amanda apart is her profound appreciation for the intimate atmosphere of a bed and breakfast. "I love the opportunity to develop genuine connections with guests, understanding their needs, and crafting personalized experiences," says Amanda. With her diverse background, she brings a unique and enriching perspective for both guests and colleagues.
As she assumes her new role as assistant innkeeper, Amanda looks forward to maintaining the warm and inviting guest experience that defines Country Willows.
