Even though the Oregon Shakespeare Festival has wrapped up for the season, live theater continues to thrive across the Rogue Valley, giving visitors and locals plenty of reasons to plan a night out. In Ashland, the Oregon Cabaret Theatre keeps its lights on year-round, and this winter it is presenting Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood, a high-energy, family-friendly production filled with music, humor, and classic heroics that runs through March. Just down the street, the Rogue Theater Company offers a more intimate theatrical experience, opening its 2026 season with special February performances exploring Hamlet, followed by Stella and Lou, which runs from mid- to late March at the Richard L. Hay Center.

Theatre lovers willing to venture a few minutes beyond Ashland will find even more options. Camelot Theatre in Talent continues its busy season with You Can’t Take It with You running from mid-February into mid-March, delivering timeless comedy and heart, before launching the jazzy musical Sugar later in March. In Medford, the Craterian Theater at the Collier Center for the Performing Arts fills the winter calendar with touring productions and local favorites, including the percussion-driven spectacle STOMP in early February, the genre-blending Vitamin String Quartet mid-month, and Freaky Friday: The Musical! in March, followed by international dance performances that round out the season.

Live performance in the Rogue Valley extends beyond traditional theater as well. The Historic Rogue Theatre in Grants Pass hosts concerts and stage performances throughout February and March, adding another dimension to the region’s cultural scene, while the Rogue Valley Symphony presents its winter Masterworks concerts across multiple venues in early February. Together, these theaters and performance spaces ensure that even in the quieter months between Shakespeare seasons, the Rogue Valley remains rich with creative energy, making Country Willows a perfect home base for guests eager to experience the arts year-round.
