Every month we introduce you to a different Country Willows team member. This month say hi to Country Willows Assistant Innkeeper, Lisa!
We asked Lisa what inspired her to work in the hospitality industry.
“I’ve been active in hospitality in Ashland for the past 7+ years. My passion is to care for each guest that journeys through Country Willows Inn. Greeting visitors with warmth and curiosity and helping everyone feel welcome and familiar. Honestly wanting to provide an excellent and unforgettable experience, a safe and comfortable shelter, local recommendations, and of course, a delicious, homemade breakfast.”
“Real hospitality is about understanding the needs of our guests and delivering a service that not only meets but exceeds their expectations. Making guests feel special and even spoiled is an art, and I practice it every opportunity. Between our guests and fellow team members, I get to meet and learn from the most amazing people. I am rewarded with the sense of appreciation I get from those around me. It’s always special to hear how the team has made someone’s day!”
About Lisa
Lisa and her husband David transplanted to Southern Oregon 12 years ago. Lisa’s granddaughter Charlotte, aka Charlie, and her family, and one other daughter live with them on a small country farm that was built in 1912.
Lisa and Charlie love spending time together tending to the animals, collecting eggs from the coop and planting and growing their organic garden.
The family all attends to the renovation and upkeep of the property and come together on Sunday afternoons for a homecooked meal and to enjoy each other’s company.
Country Willows Innkeeper, Linda Kilcollins says, “With her warm smile and impeccable attention to detail, Lisa transforms every guest's stay into an unforgettable experience. She represents the spirit of Country Willows, with kindness, generosity, and genuine connection.”
