Did you know Country Willows has a sister property just down the road? The PALM Motel and Cottages has been an Ashland institution since 1944. It’s conveniently located on Siskiyou Blvd across from Southern Oregon University. The PALM has a combination of 16 rooms and cottages that all boast a 1950’s vibe with an updated style. There are rooms perfect for the single traveler on a budget or a couple just looking to get away. Some of the larger suites can accommodate a family of five and the dog! That’s right, some rooms are kid and dog friendly! There’s also a spacious two-room cottage that can sleep six. Perfect for a girls’ trip, bridal shower or retreat. Most rooms feature a breakfast nook or kitchenette.



All the cool stuff just isn’t inside! The PALM’s seasonal, heated saltwater pool oasis has comfy private cabanas available. Their award-winning lush, manicured grounds are the perfect place to relax and unwind. The outdoor patio area is perfect for a bar-b-que or a great place to just hang out. It features a nearly completed mosaic-tiled wall and seating.



Linda Kilcollins, Country Willow’s Innkeeper extraordinaire, also manages The PALM. She says guests at The PALM can expect the same attention to detail and friendly, courteous staff as they’ve come to expect at Country Willows.

The story behind the "PALM Motel" sign? In 2002, a community survey was conducted on whether the sign should be taken down. Thousands of signatures revealed the community had grown attached to this historic sign which is now protected and will remain for generations to come! The PALM owners chose to give it the acronym for Peace And Love Matter because of everything that attracted them to this wonderful community. Oh, and they like to have fun!
